- Read a difficult text in three passes and mark its main verb, its conditions and its numbers with units.
- Explain a text in your own words: say what it says, give an example with numbers and point out what it doesn't say.
- Summarize a problem on a card (unknown, data, conditions and extra data) before solving it.
- Write a short five-part report that starts with the result.
- Test a report with a reader and correct it until they use it without asking.
Who it is for
Young people aged 16 to 24 who are starting out in engineering or a technical trade. No prerequisites. Examples from electrical work; everything that gets measured is measured on batteries.
